International Ozone Day
NBSM celebrated "International Ozone Day" on 16th Sep. 2007.
On this ocassion it organized walk rally with the aim to rise awareness for the protection of the Ozone layer.

World Standards Day & NS Quality Award Programme
NBSM is celebrating World Standards Day on 14th Oct. 2007. Slogan for this year is "Standards and the citizen Contributing to Society".
On this occasion an industry will be honoured with NS Quality Award for its best performance judged by the NS Quality Award Committee.

Nepal awarded with "The Montreal Protocol Implementers Award" by UNEP
 We are happy to inform that Nepal has been awarded with "The Montreal Protocol Implementers Award" by UNEP (United Nations Environmental Program) for the year 2007.
The National Ozone Unit of Nepal is honored by this award in recognition of its extra ordinary contribution in the effective implementation of the Montreal Protocol and the global effort to protect the ozone layer.
