Technical Service/TBT Section
The main function of this section is to provide
services related to TBT(Technical Barrier to
Trade). TBT National enquiry point has been
established under this section. There are three
technical officers specially assigned to regulate
this section. This section has full logistics
supports like fax, photo-coy machine, computers,
etc.
TBT National Enquiry Point
In order to fulfill the obligation of WTO as
a member and as per the agreements of TBT, NBSM
has been designated as a national enquiry point
for TBT. Under this function, the TBT section
has been notifying and publishing various information
regarding the TBT. Under this section national
and international notice of standards, technical
regulation and conformity assessment procedures
and other concerned information can be observed.
